FAQs

What is ESS /BESS?

In the industry and across our communications,ESS (Energy Storage System) and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) are used interchangeably to describe the same technology.

Simply put, it is a high-capacity “energy reservoir” that captures electricity from the grid or renewables (like solar and wind) and stores it in professional-grade battery modules. This allows you to save power when it is plentiful or inexpensive and deploy it exactly when your facility or the grid needs it most.

A BESS provides several core functions that solve modern energy challenges:

Renewable Integration: These systems help you store excessive energy produced during peak production times—such as when the sun is at its brightest or the wind is strongest—and discharge it when those natural resources are unavailable.

Cost Optimization: You can charge the system when grid electricity prices are low and discharge it when rates are high to avoid expensive peak demand charges.

Backup Power: The system acts as a reliable bridge during grid outages or periods of low renewable generation, ensuring your operations never lose power.

Our systems are designed for high-performance and durability across a diverse range of sectors, including:

Infrastructure: State Power Plants and State Grid.

Industrial: Manufacturing, Iron & Steel Groups, Mining, and Industrial Parks.

Specialized Processing: Automated Sawmills and Municipal Sewage Treatment Plants.

Agriculture & Food: Aquaculture and Agriculture.

Commercial & Research: Commercial Complexes and Laboratories.

Mobility & Clean Energy: EV Charging Stations, Electric Dredging Vessels, and Microgrid Systems.

We maintain a global certification roadmap to ensure safety, performance, and grid compliance. Below are some examples of the key standards that our products adhere to:

Safety & Battery Standards: UL 9540A (Pack & System), UL 1973, IEC 62619, and IEC 63056.

Electrical & Grid Integration: IEC 62477, Germany VDE (4110/4120), UK G99, and Spain NTS/217001.

Regional & Transportation Safety: CEC Listing (California), KC 62619 (Korea), and UN 38.3.

Note: Because certification requirements vary by region and project, please kindly talk to our staff regarding the specific list for each product. We can provide more details on whether our products meet the specific regulatory standards for your area.
